AI telephone assistant

From the assistant’s voice to data protection and the telephone system.

Do callers realise they are speaking to an AI?

The voices sound very natural. Nevertheless, we recommend that the assistant introduces itself as a digital assistant. This builds trust and is, in many cases, also a legal requirement.

What happens if the assistant is unable to resolve an enquiry?

He will take your enquiry and arrange a callback, or put you through directly to you or your team. You decide when each step takes place.

Is this compliant with data protection regulations?

We set up the assistant in accordance with the GDPR: using providers who offer data processing agreements, ensuring data is stored sparingly, and including a notice at the start of the conversation. We will discuss the details specific to your particular case.

Do we need a new telephone system?

Generally speaking, no. In most cases, call forwarding from your existing number is sufficient. This takes effect, for example, after a few rings or outside opening hours.

Which languages does the assistant speak?

German is the default language. Other languages, such as English, can be added; the assistant will then respond in the caller’s language.

Which companies would benefit from this?

Anywhere where the phone rings frequently and people rarely have time: medical practices, trades businesses, law firms, restaurants, property management companies or customer service departments.
